Yamaha Outboards 1984-1996 2 & 4 Stroke (Seloc) Review

I was very disappointed by this book. When I wrote to the publisher, they were not very polite and stated that I should not buy their publications as they did not want my money.
I would recommend that others, too, not part with their money on Seloc publications.
My problems: trying to cover too much, typeface - too small of a font, etc.
They should take a look at the Haynes series, much easier to work with in your workshop

PASSTRAK Property and Casualty Personal Lines Insurance License Exam Manual Review

The (General Lines) book proves more comprehensive than the Personal Lines version of the same exam. That is the one you want to use to take the big boy test like I did. The Personal Lines version would be good for the personal lines test, but I seen no reason why anyone wouldn't just take the test that allows them to write everything without having to test again.
I borrowed the Passtrak Property and Casualty Insurance: License Exam Manual (Passtrak (Unnumbered)) 6th Edition of this book from the library and found it to be even more comprehensive than the latest Property and Casualty Insurance License Exam Cram which I also reviewed for the test. At first I was measuring how much was covered in this Dearborn Passtrak Manual and when I reviewed questions from Exam Cram I felt better about how I did and my ability to answer questions caused me to feel quite prepared. When I went back to review questions from this Dearborn PassTrak, I was reminded how much more comprehensive it is.
All in all, for any shortcomings of this Dearborn Passtrak book has tougher questions and more of them so I found it to offer the best preparation among the material I reviewed. I was able to pass the TEXAS Exam the first time.
Study well.
And prepare for a great harvest.

I purchased this book specifically to find out about the much maligned FICHT fuel injection system on my Johnson outboard. The FICHT system has had many recalls and I wanted to check up on it. Even though the cover shows a picture of a FICHT outboard and the year span of the book covers FICHT engines, I found no information. Whats up with that?

This book did help me to change a water pump in the lower unit successfully. It was
easy to follow once I idenitified which motor my boat had. Make sure you pay
close attention to the order you remove parts. The pictures are clear, however
they don't always show every small detail, especially when replacing washers, or
bolts. I saved over $200 dollars on one repair by purchasing the book. Looking
forward to saving a few more dollars when something else goes wrong.
