Whether you sail or whether you simply wished that you could sail, this book is either an instruction on the right way to do things during a voyage or a travelogue for armchair sailors on interesting parts of the world. Of particular interest to me was the glossary, which defined many things hitherto unknown - also descriptions of local customs and ways of life in parts of the world that most of us are never going to see. Very readable for anyone as unnecesary embellishment has been avoided and the pace keeps moving along.
