Arirang: The Bamboo Connection Review
From the moment I began reading the story I was drawn in by Melani, the main character.D.K. Christi has a way of telling a story with detailed description taking
her readers on a journey to places around the globe. I felt as if I were
there right beside the main character as she described the places she went.
The sights, sounds and smells of each of the places she takes her readers on is
just the tip of the ice burg as she takes us on Melani's life journey from
the time she was young to growing old. There were times I cheered her on
and times I wanted to scream as she made decisions in her life that makes
her unique. Each chapter is like a story on it own, a journal of
experiences written, telling the story of a woman who finds love. This
romance describes to the reader a time of complete love and estacy, to times
of regrets and questions and back again. I really liked the way D.K.
Christi writes. I look forward to seeing more work from her.
