I found this book to be very useful. I has great color and B&W photos of the details and clear instructions for repairs. It includes complete engine and outdrive disassembly and assembly. I took my boat to the dealer two times and they still did not get it fixed correctly. I read this manual and did the tune-up and my boat runs super now. Most marine dealers are not interested in repairing older Yamaha stern drives so this manual becomes vital if you want the job done right. I have not found any mistakes or omissions.
