The Voyage of Vagabundo Review
The voyage of this particular family took place 35 years ago. They sailed from Annapolis, Maryland through the Carribean and the Panama Canal and up the West Coast of Central America to Santa Barbara, California. As a family of five, they had to be together and make the project work as a group on a 40' sailboat for a year. Half the adventure and accomplishment was successfully sailing and the other half was all the stops they made exploring with local people and places. The book conveys that they really enjoyed the experience. The bonus for me was that this book was also a voyage of discovery since we are apparently cousins but have never met except through this book and the details of a common grandmother from Guadeloupe.The Voyage of Vagabundo Overview
