This impeller kit fit my father's 1971 Mercury 200 (20 hp) engine perfectly. While fixing an ignition problem, I checked the impeller; three of the six "blades" on the original impeller were cracked in half and one had completely broken off! Fortunately I caught the bad impeller in time.This was my first experience changing an impeller and it all went smoothly. The manual I purchased from Amazon (Mercury Outboards, 1-2 Cyl 1965-89 Vol 1(Seloc Publications Marine Manuals) walked me through the impeller swap.
