I must admit my prejudice at the outset (This act is known, but not practiced by many, as transparency): I know the author personally. We met this Spring at a rally to save America, or the America as we have known it. As a published author as well, we connected on the spot. I do not know what I was expecting when I ordered Nathan Tracy's first book, PACK LEADER DOWN, but what I received was far beyond monetary costs. PACK LEADER DOWN reaches into the reader's soul and touches hidden places no one else save THE HEAVENLY FATHER or our four-legged "best friends" can ever reach. Spiritual from the outset, the dilemmas that confront us all are laid bare, and we are called to read further, to reach deeper, to push onward; or, to close the book and set it aside as "worrisome". I challenge each of you not only to purchase this novel, but to read it through to its conclusion. Then, and only then, make your decision about the offering, the courage of the author, the characters. This first novel stands tall in its courage, in its story, in its presentation. I recommend it highly, and that is not something I do lightly. I have bought five more copies to send to friends and plan to purchase many more to send on to those I love.
