A student required to use this text should keep two general points in mind.1) The figures are not as well proof-read as the text. Spelling should be crosschecked with text examples. Some of the errors are more substantive than this.
2) To keep the text simple, some oversimplifications are used and some things are stated as fact that aren't necessarily so. Description of membrane electrical behavior leaves potassium leak channels out of the resting potential. Muscle cramps are used
